Ed Roth Ratt Fink bike

My husband is painting a bike and he can't seem to get the pedal off on the crank side. He got the bolts out and the pedal off on the left but the right side is stuck. He has to reuse these so he doesn't want to ruin the ball bearings inside. He doesn't have time to wait to get the tool needed to make this easy. What are your solutions?

take to your LBS and have them remove it? Probably wouldn't cost much.

I would suggest not painting a Rat Fink. If you do that, then it's just another Electra Attitude chopper frame. You would be better off tracking down a lesser electra chopper frame and keeping the rat fink paint original.
