Electra Straight 8

Scored this straight 8 on thursday. Seller said the local bike shop diagnosed it with a cracked axle.

Got it home and it looked like the shifter cable was binding. The salt in this area isn't kind to cables and bolts. Took the cable off and it's totally fine in low gear. New cable and i'll be cookin, i think.

Got some hybrid bars and shifter assembly from the local used bike shop. Not sure I'll ever find the chainguard but no biggie.

Gotta shorten the new cable and find some touchup paint.
