I really think the colors are too bright for this bike, maybe I'll build one around it in the future, but for now I think I'm gonna go with basic black

Didn't take any pictures of putting the rest of the seat together, had adhesive on my fingers and didn't wanna touch the phone, but here's what I ended up with

I've had this long spring seat frame sitting around for a while waiting for a worthy bike

went to the hardware store for a 5/8 steel rod, hit it with a torch

and ended up with a seat post

and here's the seat on the bike

it's pretty much a complete bike now

I need to adjust the rear hub bearings, and tilt the front fender back a bit, the tire hits it when the forks compress, think I need to shorten the brace just a bit

after that I can start the test ride process, should be a finished bike soon

needs a bit of shaping, bet you didn't know this was an upholstery tool...

takes a light touch but works well

now comes the part where I ask the opinion of my fellow rat rodders; I could take the easy way out and make it black to match the grips, tires and pedals, or I found this hippie blanket that has all the colors of the body parts, thinking it might tie everything together....
