Found on Saturday.
I broke it down, cleaned regressed and clear coated all afternoon Sunday and now it's one heck of a rider.

This one was truly farm fresh

I hope get to ride it before it moves on..... :)

This one will stick around for a while. At least until I find one in better shape (probably won't). This is one of my "Grail" 50's balloon tire bikes.

I agree with you and Tank on this being a great design and Grail bike. You have a knack for finding the perfect patina examples too. I love those old decals on the tank and guard too.
 
Yours is missing the exact same pieces as mine. These old boys must have lived next door to each other!;)
 
Awesome bike and on my list as well. Some bikes are just flat out cool designs. The X53 is right up there with the Super Cruisers in my opinion
