I ran across these extreme bike made for sand and ice. They make a few other styles with suspension and forks.

The crank arms are so long it looks like they'd drag the ground.

There's plenty of video on youtube with the Surly Pug with dual 4 inch wide tires and that thing looks pretty sweet (and quite mobile)

They have a full suspension tandem with those wheels for sale for $14,800.
I think they're going to have some trouble getting that.

I remember the Henebrink from the early 90's. I didn't know that they went into production.

The tires are "only" 4" wide on this one.
