Saw this at my LBS. Think the price was in the $350 range. The guy said the spare tires and rimes are on back order as of the moment.

It's a lot like the Surly Pugsley. Double check the price on that Spyder. At my LBS it is $700.

You should check out what yoothgeye's doing with Sand Rover in the Builds section and what I plan to do with Fugsley (link below).

Sun has been watching Surly, obviously... they have a copy of the Pugsley and the Big Dummy now, too. Both are very well priced for what you get. I almost bought their Xytacycle cargo bike.

Why pay serious cash for an Xtracycle (longtail) when you can easily make your own. All you need is the rear end from one of those cheap Next or Mongoose full suspension bikes. Take a look at this thread and you will see how easy it is. I love the cruiser longtail that someone posted near the end.

I plan on using some of these ideas in my Fugsley build, but I really want to see some Longtail Rats out there. Come on guys, this is easy compared to the skills I have seen on this site.

Love the bike, love the wide rims, love the SIZE of the tires, hate the tread pattern, a brick tread would be MUCH better.
Can you imagine a 26 x 4 Fat Brick?

Just my .02

Cheers,

Those are pretty sick! But, what is that bike in the window! Our LBS doesn't sell ANY cruisers or bmx, just mountain bikes. So, I'm not really up on the newer stuff out there. But, that frame looks awesome!
