Just spoke with a sales rep. from Felt.

They have a big shipment of parts coming at the end of March.

This means they should have everything in stock then.

You have to order parts through an authorized dealer.

Actually, he said any dealer could order parts from them.

Anybody know what their tires run price-wise??

I think the tires sell for around $35.

They may have the brown tires in stock now.

I know they are out of the cream colored tires.

Does anyone know if Felt sells those 24x3 whitewallls on the "taxi"? or maybe the rim and tire?

I am going to my dealer tomorrow and I will get an update from him. He's about 20 miles away. I am also going to order the 2008 Felt Hot Wheels 68 bike. I know $900 but it is limited and is a cross collectible AND I am going to swap out my polished rims from my Cafe 750. It will be customized in a cooler way!

I have been looking at felt, I called them and the midwest rep is suppost to pay me a vist in march. I'm not saying i'm going to stock them but it never hurts to talk.

I didnt notice that derailer when I looked at the new Felts. That is cool and very unique. Back to the old French 3 spds.

The shifter is even on the down tube. :shock:

Also in Michigan is Paint creek cycles(in Lake Orion). Kieth is the owner and he has no problem ordering Felt parts for me. The shop deals mostly in high end bikes but, he seems enthusiastic about the older stuff as well.

Boardtrack, is that the little shop on a side street of off the main drag? If so, yeah that's a great place! I don't know if I'm allowed back in there, drooled all over everything a few years back! :lol: They had a tandem that was pretty old that some guy brought in. The frame was rusty in all the cool places and the paint was a very old and worn red. They weren't sure what the owner was gonna do with it, he just kinda left it there and asked them to look it over. I kinda suspected it went into one of the antique stores over that way.
I might have to stop in there in the next few weeks and see what's new!

Thats the place! I live in the Victorian house about 3 businesses down and on the same side of the street. Next to the funeral home parking lot. Stop by and I'll give you a garage tour.

Garage tour! :shock: I love garage/shop tours! And then you throw in a Paint Creek ride and it's like biting into a York Peppermint Patty! We'll have to get together when the weather breaks!

I'm very interested in the brown Quick Bricks for a new build, they are listed as 26 x 2.125, does anyone have a set mounted? I am wondering how wide they end up being mounted as I'm pretty sure they'll be a tight fit. If anyone has them, in any color, could you let me know what they measure up on the rim?

Just bumping this question...If anyone has a set, not even brown, just has these on a bike. I called all the shops here in Chicago and none of them carry the Felt Cruisers, I was going to try and measure them in the store but that failed Any help would be appreciated, thanks folks.
