i have heard about this site and often checked it out but never registered. Ive always been into old bikes so i look forward to this being a regular site for me to visit. I currently have 3 vintage schwinns. I have a soft spot for schwinns but love all old bikes in general. Anything from the classic beach cruiser to a bmx.

Welcome durf! Beautiful country up there where you are. I spent a few years as a kid on Whidbey Island. I recently bought a Schwinn Collegiate 3 spd (just for the hub) for $20 at a Thrift Store here on the east coast and it had a Schwinn dealer sticker on it down near the bottom bracket from a shop up your way in Payallup (sp?). I found that interesting and wondered about its history, traveling 3,000 miles. Anyway, welcome!
