I have a yellow 2 speed hub that needs work. TO attempt to service & repair or not to ..... (Farm it out )
Am I brave ( or stupid ) enough to attempt it ???
I love the two I already have on bikes ... the third one I got didnt seem to want to shift.
Your experiances or suggestions welcome

Dude, go for it! I've done 3 red bands and a blue. If I can do it, so can you. Also remember, we're here to help. If you get stuck we'll walk you through it.

Same here.... I've rebuilt several and they're not hard, you only need to be careful.

Make sure it is in loww gear before you start to avoid breaking the retarder spring (try and drop by your LBS for one!)

Even if you brought it to a shop, most newby mechanics would be scared. It's not to tough though.
