Usually end of July, when there is only one month left. Believe me, I've waited for the Finished Build thread many times ! 
I think if we post it too soon, it can have a negative effect on those that are struggling with progress on their own build. " Oh oh, @rickpaulos is already done? I'm not even close to finishing, maybe I'll just bag it."

Thanks to this site for not discussing what a rat rod is and the overall positive attitude.
It's not about how quick the build goes. With over 4 months, speed sure isn't an issue for class 1 builds. There is plenty of time to source parts or wait for paint to dry. Class 2 is another matter.
I also like the "vote for all you want" system. Nothing more disapointing than getting zero votes.
