man this is so sweet.
pulled out all the stops stretch.

I had bent several of the solid bar chain stays for the colsons. I took one and stuck it in my vice and put the same bend as the western flyer chainstays. Then welded the other parts on to make it run like the existing one. Turned out pretty good.
Thanks guys for the good comments ...Glad you liked it.

Oh yeah, thanks for making me feel like an "....." ............I thought that was some SUPER rare frame. I didn't realize you ADDED the extra chainstays, that's how good they look.

beautiful looking bike paul! color combo is a real eye catcher! a very hot rod looking build. makes a really nice wallpaper for the computer also!

Ok so here is the steampunk seatpost where you can see it. The only part you cant see is the 2'' long piece of seatpost under it.

Ok, now I get it, me likey. Looks very heavy duty.

Tha double chain stay seatpost is very clever and very cool! Your bike looks like it "feels the need for speed".

Looks like lots of builders came up with unique setback seat setups, but I have to say yours is the best looking. :D

The twin bars on the back give the frame a totally different look.

Nice job on the build.
