Dawned on me the other day that i could use the middle section from the rear legs of the exercise bike

Here is the piece mocked up to the fram
I need to make that reab hole just a bit bigger so that it can fit into the bb area

This is the coolest game of Tetris ever!!!
 
Picked up the bolts nuts and washers I needed for the seat / coaster attachment
Just need to widen the holes
In case anyone is curious the washers that fit into the bb bearing cups are listed as 5/8 outside diameter is 1 3/4

Also picked up what I will be using for the bb
It's 2 x 2 exhaust connector bought at any local auto store

It's about an inch wide so I willneed to take off about a half inch on both ends

I plan on bolting it right next to the seat clamp
The center indent really helps to properly align the new bb

Got more of the brackets drilled and mounted along with the tandem coaster
Unfortunately I discovered that I'm about an inch to far back with the main adapter
The coaster is hitting the fender
Also I was using tire and wheels off another bike
I think I need a 24" on the front

Here you can see the small clearance of the brake arm compared to the large sprocket
And if you look bellow the sprocket you can see the dust cap that I had to grind down to work

Considering using this piece (cut in 2) from the exercise bike to add a bit more bracing

Noticed a good spot where the curve of the brace matches up with the fender to somewhat hide the bracing
May be able to get rid of the straight bar braces but not sure until I actually see it bolted up

More work done on the bb
Cut up the remaining part from the bracket to bolt on the bb (prefer to stick to bolt on only if possible)
As well as cut out an area in the middle to slide bracket piece into

My plan Is to bolt the bracket on to the bb
In theory it should clear the crank but if not I can always resort to welding it on
This piece is to be used as a secondary attachment to the seat post clamp

Also drilled out an area to run a bolt so the 48 tooth sprocket will attach to the sprocket on the tandem coaster

A bit of bad new over the weekend
I discovered a Crack in coaster hub right where the extra cog is welded
Not sure if it is a old crack or newly developed when I was modifying the cog
Rather than take a chance I have decided to go back to a simpler design for Fire woman
At least I have a week and a backup plan

I can either go to a simple standard drive with the vintage chainguard
Or a southpaw freewheel with the exercise chainguard modified to mimic the vintage guard

I also need to decide if I want to use the strait seat post part
Or a 90 degree bend

Been really trying to make this bike a left side drive but It may turn out to not have enough time to do the plan B before the deadline
In the meantime I decided on going with the exerciser seat post holder
The 90 bend would be problematic if not done straight
This gives me some room for error

The bb consists of a 2 x 2 exhaust connector
2" exhaust u bolts
And the top piece used to be a flush ring pull from a hardware store
It turned out to be the strongest 3 x 3 piece of metal that after I cut the ends would also fold best over the frame

Ended up going with a standard coaster brake rear wheel 26 x 1 3/8 (590) whitewall
Since the fender is a middleweight I couldn't do a 26 x 2.125
The only other rear I could have tried was a 700 to kick up the rear higher
But I didn't have one ready to go with a coaster braje
Kept the columbia/westfield chainguard in the normal position
I just Couldn't decide which type of braking system to go with to run a left side drive setup
Also never got a chance to find out if running a 22" (457) front wheel and tire would level out the tank as opposed to running a taller rear wheel
Kept the og 26" fork with a 24 wheel with a 24 x 1.75 front whitewall

I was able to flip the majority of the og parts from the fire arrow
Frame flipped
Tank flipped
Hbars flipped
Front fender mounted on rear
Unfortunately the drive train is still on the normal side
Maybe in the future I can run it on the left
