Picked this one up based on vaguely remembered desires from childhood. I think I wanted one of these when I was a kid, but new bikes were far outta the budget.
Basic kids junk, cranks too short etc, but everything is in decent shape

Yes, it looks like they tacked it in place, then never got around to finishing it. I can probably get a fingernail in that gap

Yeah I had no intentions track or trail for this one. I really only wanted the bars, stem, and a few other bits, and then use the frame for BM(m for muscle)X build off in the spring. Then Jr got on it, now I have to reevaluate it's worthiness

cool find there are two brands / company's sporting the fish bone name. a department store sold brand out of China. then a top high end brand still made in China but way way better quality made stuff. like these modles

Eventually, it'll be built up as a cruiser for a 6 year old. It'll be fine.

I am surprised it is whole, and I can never but help thinking of computer disk boxes every time I see one. So retro!
