If you do go that route, you should not rely on the fixed gear for stopping. I would always use at least one brake on a fixed gear.

Next question...Do you know where I can find a die to cut threads on an aluminum mag wheel? Looking to have freewheel provisions on BOTH sides of an alloy BMX wheel....
 
Those would be very hard to find and expensive. If you find a shop that has one, they probably wont' use it on new threads.

this is the die you need
1.37 inch x 24 tpi Bottom brackets, ISO/English/BSC, and threaded freewheel hubs
