Went up to the flea market even though I am broke right now (unexpected sewage problem) and running low on space in the shed (32 bikes, 1 trike, lawn mower, and 2 standing toolboxes in a 10' x 10' shed), anyway I saw a Bratz low rider bike with no wheels, I had to ask about it and he says $5. I told him I'd be back on payday, then he asks if I had anything to trade that he can turn a quick buck on? I though back to that old silver Huffy ladies 10 speed that I'd be lucky to sell at all, the deal was struck and I rode home grabbed the bike, doubled it up there and carried the low rider home. The wheels off of the girl's pixie bike matched the purple color PERFECTLY! All the chrome cleaned up pretty decent, thinking of selling it or building a mini Bootlegger to go with my bigger one. I'll get pics of the brat low-rider tomorrow when I got more light. I am happy, I got 3 bikes out of my way and got a sweet low-rider to play with or sell.

Traded this one for it

Parted out these two one built my pirate bike and the other is building this low rider

Any ideas on how to make it less like an 8 year old girl's bike and more wicked looking rat rod bike? I was thinking of doing like an easy rider / ghost rider biker rough and tough look to it but I'm lost. Maybe some screw back spikes lining the rear fender? (I do have it but it's rusty with chrome stars.......Very "Rat"

Hey outskirt, I was going to strip mine and paint the frame flat black. Change to a black banana seat and some diff. grips..... I had already changed to black rims w/Mongoose flame tread tires. Stole the killer rat traps and threw on some old school pedals,.....then my wife came home from vacation and claimed it! Now I need to get a set of regular forks, because it reminds her of her Sting-ray she had as a little girl. Oh well, can't keep em' all, and if it keeps her interested in my hobby, so be it.

No welder...... That is SWEET though.
pshh, you work on cars, dontcha know people with a welder?

We got three at the shop but he doesn't let me bring in my own stuff unless it makes him money. I am thinking of buying a cheap mig with my next check, I have gone too long since my old one gave out.

Yea, they do kinda ride " all over like". I just got a Firestone slick out of my uncles basement, cleaned it with simple green and straight on the bike it went! will post later.
