Got this bike a couple weeks ago...

As stated in the above thread... it's a Murray built bike sold through Otasco... thus the Flying "O"... Paint was rough as sandpaper and dingy... wheels were crusty and hazed over... and the seat was a dingy tan... But it looked like it'd clean up... I think it came out alright after I put a couple hours in it...

You can see the spot I rubbed out on the front of the chaiguard compared to the rest...

Pedals... yea... I'm diggin the pedals now that I can see em...

Seat was actually white...

How did you get the pics to look like a polaroid? That looks way cool.
 
Very cool old bike - nice job cleaning her up!
Is the colour actually gold, or more of a greenish tint?

Hard to describe the color... because yea... it's gold ... with a greenish tint... But I like it! LOL! After I cleaned it... it's become one of my favorites in my collection! :wink:
