Haven't checked the yaun exchange rate lately but I think you can get about 10 of them in China for the price on that website.

For many, fixed gear bikes are just a fashion statement. Now some of them are starting to buy track bikes just to stay ahead of the curve. The higher the price for a Flying Pigeon the better as far as that crowd is concerned. Now we'll just have to hear them justify it the same way they've been justifying the outrageously priced and highly stylized components most of them use on their fixies.

There's nothing wrong with a utilitarian commuter bike, just don't pay a premium for it and pretend you're the king while riding it.
