Hello!
Lost my dad a few years back, long story short he was a bike tinkerer. Found an old 50s or 60s Schwinn (Tornado I believe) in mom's basement which he either never got to or it was too far gone to make it rideable in close to stock condition. So I've been pondering what to do with this thing and stumbled upon the ratrod world; this looks right up my alley. Got it stripped down to the frame and am beginning the journey of parts collection. Hope to be picking peoples' brains here very soon on the construction.
My primary bike is a 12yr old carbon steel GT MTB which has been turned into a mongrel w/ 27" road bike tires!
