I know that goo gone and WD40 work at removing adhesive residue but I have an 1985 western flyer frame I am trying to remove the foil stickers but they only come off in very small peices
Aside from taking a wire wheel to the frame and grinding off the stickers (and the paint they are adhered to) and then cleaning up the resulting mess with goo gone, is there a better method? I tried a hair drier but that got to hot to handle. I want to repaint the frame so whats left of the paint will most likley be sanded down/off .I am building a fixie in addtion to my trike http://www.ratrodbikes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=61012.
sorry for the poor image quality on that last pic.
any suggestions would be welcome
