OK, been searching for a basket for the Mrs' 1950 Monark.
Well, started watching this one on eBay, can you believe the selling price!

Bought the same liner for $13 and a whitewashed Peterboro for $30, that's a little more like it.

My girl friend has a bunch of Longaberger baskets. I was shocked when she told me how much she paid for them. Some were over $500 !!

Here's two of them I put on one of her rides...

Years ago my wife was a Longeberger rep. She became one so she could get the baskets cheaper. Her mom and my mom bought a few too, and friends would invariably get baskets as gifts.

We had lots of baskets lying around in the garage until I cried "uncle" and got permission to sell them. I Ebay'd them, and they sold for reasonable amounts, but we didn't have anything considered collectable or rare.... like I'm assuming that basket was? That's insane.

So show us a link of what you did get? I'm going to get the wife a basket to match a basket for the daughter's bike.
