Do you build a jig to build the frame in or just do it on a flat surface or ... ?

Both! we (3G Fabs) started out building our bikes on the floor. We juuuust about have our jig down to a science. Now how good is that science? Well....so easy a caveman could do it!

hes right(although...i learned my shop floor isnt flat so i built a welding table thats level) both is the way.

I don't use and actual jig but I do clamp square tubing to several areas as I build. So i guess it's kind of a jig and I do weld on a steel door bolted to a futon frame. :lol:
