I needed my seet back a bit but i didn,t want to waste material on a mistake if i didn,t get the distance correct .
i scavenged some seats i had kicking around for some seatpost clamps , and i had to buy 1 extra .

I used 4 seatpost clamps and 4 pieces of 5/16 rod and came up with this fully adjustable in setback , angle , and height seat adapter . It is actually very solid ( i had my doubts at first ) but it doesn,t budge a bit .
it just takes some fiddling around with adjusting when all the nuts are loose .

After i get it just exactly where i want it , i will cut off the excess ends of the rods .

Thanks guys .
personally i think it looks too bulky and it is kinda ugly looking .

BUT . it served its purpose very well .
After a bunch of riding and adjusting , i have my seat possitioned exactly where i want it .
Now i can measure the center distance and weld up a post that will be perfect ( the first time )

For now i will just ride with it , untill i get the welded post made .
All and all , its a very handy little gadget , thought i would share it with yaz ( think twice - weld once )
