ok, so a couple of years ago a feller who owns a liquor store in town brought in a schwinn tandem to the auto repair shop where i work knowing that i am into bikes and needed help getting the wedge bolt out of the fork so i helped him and his son do so. this morning the feller shows up at the shop and says the son lost interest in the bike and wanted to know if i was interested in the bike. sure, how much? he gives it to me!!! says, just buy your next case of beer at my store. didn't have the heart to tell him i didn't drink. the son has taken the bike apart and bagged/labeled every bolt in the bags. looks like a good winter project to have ready for spring for the wifey and i!!!

You could just go in and buy some pop or something you do like so you can even up. Send in some people who do drink and ask them to say you sent them in.

Or just go buy some beer and throw it in the garage fridge, people love working when there is free beer involved. you'd get your stuff done and even up on the bike at the same time!

here ya' go uncle stretch! now, i will just have to find that pic of sasquatch riding in that flying saucer!!!

both cranks are stamped 67 so i am sure it is a 67 model. highly doubt that someone swapped out both cranks w/two from a 67 bike. didn't look up the serial number yet. i think i am just going to go back with the original blue and keep it simple and clean.
