FREEWHEEL REPLACEMENT HELP!

Hi guys, I recently bought a Monty Trails T-219 bike, but it came without a freewheel. How do I figure out which one I need? I'm assuming the tooth number wont matter, but it already has a chain on it so I dont want to have to shorten it.Are they all standard thread?

Multi-speed typically run 3/16" chain, single speed run the 1/8". You would just need to make sure the derailler and cassette have the same number of speeds.

cool, its a singlespeed, so more like a bmx. I was reading sheldon brown's site and it says most of the older freewheel hubs will fit any cogs, as long as they are threaded.

Single speed makes it easy, just decide how many teeth you want and head to the LBS.
