The barn it came out of was falling down and we saved it before the whole thing fell down , the barn owner said it has been there for 40+ years , as for what I am going to do with it I am not sure at this point but it is way cool and I just couldn't let it go , these are pretty hard to find , this is the first one that I have ever found , just wish it was in a little better shape but for now it will just hang from the ceiling in my shopWow nice. Looks like the barn roof blew off! What are your plans for it?
It may disappear if you do that ..If it was mine, I'd throw it in a giant tube of Wood Bleach (Oxalic Acid) and see what happens. I'll bet you could save the frame. It looks a lot like the '32 Rollfast I build for my son!

Its puzzling to me that no matter how much proof that Oxalic acid is not only so mild that it won't even harm paint but also environmentaly friendly enough to pour down the drain you still believe it will dissolve a human body and requires a Tyvex suit to handle....It may disappear if you do that ..
