The same guy that tossed out that black mongoose bike tossed this pink girly bike.

I actually passed it by the first time but I went back, and this thing had air in the tires.

I towed it home behind my bike with one arm. The rear wheel needs a true up and a dog has eaten the seat cushion.

But it has alloy wheels and shiny hubs and probably less than 1 mile on the tires.

Yeah I was going to paint over that chainguard right away. Yeesh! But amazingly it’s not all scratched up.
It is a kissing cousin to the larger one from the Manhattan bike.

Unfortunately, those are just painted steel wheels, and I thought they were blue anodized aluminum.

I’m having this massive urge to Frankenbike right now….

Surprise!

Meaty little white walls…

I don’t think the wheel load rating is as heavy as the tire.

The hubs are filthy but actually roll fine, while the bottom bracket is gunked up.

I’m thinking about using this entire bike frame as a swingarm.

Last week: $20 each on craigslist.
This week: tossed out 400 yards from me.

The 16” Huffy Frozen tribute bike, and the 12” Huffy Sea Star.

These are both smaller than the LOL Surprise. They don’t put their best welders on these little bikes that’s for sure.

I can see why they didn’t sell, because they’re fairly weathered.

Well this one is not heavy duty having only 20 spokes but I took the dent out of it and strip the paint off of it and completely released it and it looks much better.

I don't know if there is such a thing as a heavy duty 16" wheel but have my eyes peeled for a decent option. Those fat tires give me hope & inspiration!

You could drill & double spoke to create a 40 spoke wheel from a 20, which should be really solid.

But why a coaster? You just want a front 16” wheel without a brake right?

You can’t use the coaster brake wheel without a chain, right?

It has a 16" front wheel in back, correct. I will come up with a way to use a lever & cable to actuate the coaster brake for better control/safety on hills. ;)

@Mr. Monkeyarms I may have the 16" wheel you seek for that contraption. I also have a few non-drive side 170mm cottered cranks that may match up to fit it. Hit me up, I'll be around all day today.

Awesome! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner yesterday. My Brother & Sis in Law were visiting & left my phone at home while goofing around all day. 🤦‍♂️

I may have to bump this project up in the que... May use fenders too.
