i cut these and mounted 'em on the side of the bike opposite of where they should be. i had to drill holes lower on the bars than what was available, but ive had to do that on several gravity bikes that used sissy bars.

this is the suicide brake bike or 'pleasure tool' as ive named it after my favorite sticker on the bike. i took a mounting bracket off the bottome of a different bananna seat, drilled a hole in the front of this seat, bolted the set to the cannibalized bracket, then bolted the cannibalized bracket to the seat tube clamp. this is a 20" frame with 16" fork and wheels, suicide brake, foot rests (no pedial) and i take it out for goofy downhilling sometimes.

it's WICKED dangerous !! its necessary to keep yer hand on the brake lever at all times, it doesn't take much to get the thing going fast enough that the almost vertical front end rake starts to shimmy, by that time ya cant take either hand off the handle bars to grab the brake lever cuz you'll lose it all together, ive seen it, its not pretty...funny....but not pretty !!

remember when danimal tried that!!!! he went down that hill at blue valley park and didnt hold the brake the whole time and a truck came up the other side of the road and dan had to take the pleasure tool off into the grass!!! that was a good time man!! im lookin forward to doing some gravity races this spring eddie!!! we still need to build my g-bike too bro!!!

i know almost nothing about gravity bikes, although they do sound fun. good lookin out with the wheelie bar out back (if thats what it is). i had a similar styled bike with a like 85/15 r/f weight distribution. i had to actually work to keep the front wheel on the ground when i took off.

it's a wheelie bar, but its just for looks, i doubt it'd be much good if actualy started tipping! good fun w/ this project!
