when the springer compresses, will the tire hit the fork crown? That could be bad.
I can’t make it hit pushing it down with my weight in the garage but yeah it’s something I’ll need to check better if I go with the 700c wheel setwhen the springer compresses, will the tire hit the fork crown? That could be bad.
+1Those narrow mini apes are cool !
Bike AND wagon….. both wicked cool….Felt halfway decent today so I decided I needed to test ride it. The crankset, chain, pedals and green grips were just handy. I like the way it rides but I have to figure out a brake or put some 26s on it! View attachment 195054View attachment 195052View attachment 195053
I do kind of like the crank and sprocket though.
I immediately thought Rollfast. I’ve never owned one, but I’ve heard they are get ridersGreat tanker. It has a Rollfast/snyder feel to it. Probably early to mid 50s is my guess.
Rustoleum now makes a ‘Chalked Matte Clear’ I saw it the other day at either Target or Home Depot. Maybe a chalky finish on the fork would make it blend better with that awesome patina on the frameNot sure what thread it was but reading them today someone commented they would like to see more mock ups. So while I had it down to check step over I grabbed a photo. View attachment 192033
the fresh paint on the fork looks a lot different then the old frame
Rollfasts are ok. Ride pretty good. Not incredible. I think they just look cool.I immediately thought Rollfast. I’ve never owned one, but I’ve heard they are get riders
All of that and no cork-sniffing!
Another attendee at the Pedal Peddle this past Saturday (Richard from CO Springs) made a highly positive comment to this very same effect. The knowledge here and ability to share it unconditionally is an excellent attribute.
One of my favorite episodesThis made me laugh and reminded me of the SouthPark SMUG episode.
