ive notice a myiad of gambles bikes of the 39 to 42 era,i bought one from the original owner abotb5 years ago who at the time was 71,he bought the bike new from gambles to do his paper route,it was compleat and the only thing that was changed was hiis sister brush painted it colbolt blue,when i started to remove the paint i saw itwas originally blue and red with red stripes,it was paintedar as thfender moun in the shelby scheme,it had the train badge on it which was the hiawata olympic train that ran between mpls and st paul,i came with a aero chain guard but ithas the idential shape as an aero but does not have the 2 gruves in it,has peaked fenders with stright braces,the for is not a shockes but loof idential to on with the same strurts,had the biscuit head light,the frame looks shelby built,it has a full lengh tank with 3 gilss on each side,no holes for a horn,its not a shorter tank like safty bike,it camd wit a vertcal lobdell seat,millre kickstand,the rear carrier has fairle long sides on it,there is only one fender brace on the rear asthe top of the fender mounts to the rear carrier,the rear hub is a morrow with a date code 3rd quarter of 31=4 31had drop center wheels that were blue with white strips,bike is currently waiting to be put back together,i have never seen the exact same bike,hope you enjoyed the info,if there are pics of cetainparts of the bike let meknow,by the way the old fellow i got it from called it an arrow,AJ
