Love me my garage sales! Went to the flea market this morning and scored a 7'4" Patterson quad fin fish for $150, then I check the old smart phone Craigslist app for Sunday garage sales near by and sure enough found one a mile away. Popped this 1 owner Lil tiger for a OK price but man is it clean. Can't wait to get r in the bubble bath and sparkling. Should be able to make a decent profit and let my 5 year old play with it first. Also got 3 huge boxes full of 1980s go Joe, He-man, my little pony, and rainbow brite. Also some other random 80s toys. My kids and I have been playing gi joe versus my little pony all afternoon. Got a 1550 pelican for $5, got a 50s-60s trumpet for $40 that has a $100 mouth piece on it. And and and, just a total score of a garage sale.

That is a VERY nice Lil Tiger! I would date it about a 1975-77 Lil Tiger. The round guard came out around that time, and there was a mix of parts in those years, some years had full rear fenders, some had duck tail, some had sprockets with holes in them, some were solid.

The Lil Tiger frames aren't dated like the other Schwinn frames. You have to pull the crank out of the frame to get an approximate date for the bike, the cranks are dated.

Nice score!

I knew Rob would beat me to the Tiger dating. I was scratching my head over that serial #. Nice score on that! I was gonna guess 1976.

Chad is right on, I would guess 1976 if I had to pin it down to one year, because of the duck tail fender and silver glitter seat.

And I think the '75s had the reflectors that bolt to the frame. (also using that same screw as the early ray sissy reflector strap.)

Right place right time is a big part of it, but not all of it. Flipping is my full time job and I actively seek out these situations every day of the week. And find treasure all the time to resell to the end user. [emoji4]
Right place-Right time-Right person!

Luke.

My 10 year old just started on the Trumpet this year. We got one for cheap because of some damage to the bell, but still plays well. I'll get him a new one when he gets better and more into it. Nice score on yours!

I always pick up any instrument I can find for cheap. I then put it in the kids hands and see if it sticks. So far my 10 year old has not put down the ukulele.

Ding! You forgot the ding sound.

Very nice score, that is going to clean up nicely.

I wouldn't plug that sander in, especially with the cord frayed where it is. Be careful.
