G'day my names Trevor I'm in Australia.
I was looking at all the fantastic bikes on the forum and I've already got some great ideas that I can use in my work.
I guess you'd call me an Artist/Model maker.
I make a lot of different things but in amongst it all from time to time I build 2/3 scale motorcycle from recycled materials.
A lot of which is bicycle parts.
I'm not sure that my work quite fits in here, it's a bit left field.
But this is what I'm working on at the moment.
It's a 2/3 scale 1929 Indian Straight Four.
The wheels are from an old BMX bike, the steering throat is from the same bike.
I use the small rear sprocket from a bicycle on the gearbox of the motorcycle.
And the larger one on the back wheel.
All the rest is made from things like MDF, PVC pipe, old bits of scrap metal just about anything I can lay my hands on.
There's no pedals but not that I'd let it happen it could be used as a free coaster.
I've still got a lot of work to do on it.
But I'm hoping to have it pretty much done but Christmas.
Anyway like I say a little left field.
But I thought it maybe of interest to some of the forum members.
Cheers
Trevor.
