well with all the issues i have been having with my genesis onex 29er she finally decided to do what she is supposed to do.
i got brave and took her to wahoo Nebraska which is about 20 or so miles from where i am.

she was packed with fishing gear and a tent to keep my stuff in as well as some other things.so she was packed up another 10 or so lbs.
i had some luck but only bluegill which are common round here.
felt good to be out in the open road with no one to tell me you have to do this or you cannot do that.
my legs, however felt like they were going to fall off.
so upon this ride i have decided i need to build a trailer so i can haul stuff with me as well as pick up potential projects as i saw a sweet 1940,s what i believe was a colsen clipper, but not exactly sure what it was.
so black death as i have dubbed her since this thing is always dead or broken has proven to be worthy for once in her life.
im gonna do this trip again next time i will take pics.
don't really know what the moral of this post is.
just random chat about how a problem child can sometimes be a good thing i guess lol

Glad the Onex worked well for a long ride. The fishing was definitely a major bonus. I remember you mentioning in posts now and then how it had been a problem bike. From reading reports of owners online it seems like some of the Kent bikes can have troublesome crank and hubs. Did you have to replace or repair anything on your Onex to get it operational?
