I'm looking forward to warm weather and riding more. One bike I plan to ride is my Genesis Onyx. The bike came with a 16 tooth rear sprocket. It needs a little more gear for slight hills. 18 and 21 tooth gears seem to be readily available. I'm thinking about trying the 21 first. Who has regeared an Onyx , and what worked good for you? Also, who has a pair of the original twin rear reflectors that some Onyxes had that you will sell? Thanks.

I put on a 21 tooth and it works great. The bike is now much more fun to ride. I can even climb some hills that were very difficult before. Only problem is- I added three links to the chain and there is not enough adjustment travel to tighten the chain as it should be. Moving the wheel/tire rearward , the tire rubs the fender. Two links are not enough , so I may need a half-link. I'll figure it out this evening after work.
