My Girlfriend sent me a few pics of a bike she saw.First of all,good girl..I like the bike,It looks like a cool bike to ride around.Dont know a thing about these Royce Union bikes but,this is a Heavy Bettie to me! I'll take it..Any info on these?

i actually had one like this except it was red and white which i eventually sold to gaskill if you need parts. they were sold in europe and china. they all had english 3-piece cranks and tanks with no horns. the seatpost bolt holds the rear wheel stays in place for they are not welded to the rest of the frame. . . i used that to my advantage when i stretched mine about a foot. the chinese frames were slightly smaller than the european frames such as the one i had. that's all i know and if anyone has any info contrary to it i'm sure they will supply it. nice bike, enjoy it!!
RU was a brand name of Union Cycle co. I believe they used different companies in Europe to build their bikes. I have one from the late 50s-early 60s.
