Warning, this post is simply shameless self promotion. I made this pic today with my rear rack top shelf. It's a knock off of the most popular graffiti ever known as "Killroy Was Here!" during WW2 for those who don't know.
I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone here, many of you have been responsible for a lot of inspiration that made my blog possible. It's now at the end of it's fourth year with over 1 300 000 visits. It has spawned a few self employed bike mechanics, rescued it's fair share of dead bikes, got some people back into riding, made a few single Mom's heroes to their kids and managed to save a few bucks to a lot of people. It also motivated the creation of a free Ebook for people who want to try fixing bikes for the first time. With almost 100 000 downloads across the planet, I think it's a success.
The inspiration and creativity of a good bunch of people here have made it possible for me to be motivated enough to put the info out there. I went through a down period and almost tossed in the towel. Then I came here, lurked around, caught the bug again and got my butt in gear.
If you ever felt like sharing knowledge that you have with the world, I say do it. I don't have a fortune in the bank, but I consider myself a rich man. The feedback you get from people you have helped out is worth a million bucks.
Thanks again.
