I'm headed to the big sale again this year. I picked up a few bikes last year, the most notable being my Dahon folder for 5 bucks. That's the one I used in the build off. After a couple of changes, it's headed to the Philippines to be ridden by my brother in law.
The biggest Catholic church in the Jacksonville area (St. Pauls) saves up merchandise all year and puts out the word for donations, so it fills up their fellowship hall and the big yard out front. They also get a lot of tools and things from old garages. There were 30 bikes or so last year, and the sale starts at 5pm tomorrow. The line usually runs a couple city blocks when it opens. I also picked up a new fullsize outdoor electric grill for 10 bucks that just gave up the ghost last month, after being used on a nearly daily basis.
I'm rolling up the cover on the truck to make room for as many bikes as I can pick out. I'll take a few pics and post them up.
