No, I have no need for it. It's kinda cool, in a retro way. Was thinking of posting it on the Rat Rod Bikes FB page for the price of packing and shippingNice! Any plans on restoring it?

Just snagged this ladies Columbia with a Springer fork. I was able to get the stem out without any trouble, but the headset stuff is giving me fits. It's soaking in the sun with PB Blaster right now. Hopefully it'll loosen up, and I'm even more hopeful that my wide front wheel will fit in there

If I can't get the headset loose, I'll just cut it off and weld a new steering tube in place. IF I can get it loose, and IF my wheel fits, AND IF the steer tube is too long, I'll just make a spacer to take up the slack.
D'Oh! You're right! The badge even says that. I've just got Columbia on the brain! I even pointed out the distinctive Rollfast rear dropouts to the sellerI believe that's a Rollfast.
Just updated the post. Thanks for catching thatI believe that's a Rollfast.

The ubiquitous glamour shot. Hopefully my city finally paid it's electric bill and has the park lights on tonight so I can get a good night picView attachment 200727
In case anyone else has a JC Higgins color flow, or just a Delta Superlite without glass and a bezel, a Rayovac LED camp flashlight will screw directly on without any modifications and hold super tight

Stability vs manoeuvrability too. Short stays make for quick response and power deliveryA long wheelbase bike with rider seat in or near the middle of the wheelbase is an easy riding bicycle. I think the main reason for long rear stays was a more comfortable riding bicycle. Short rear stays beat the rider through the seat.
I may do that the next time I feel like Jackson Pollack, lolI love sooooo much about this build! It's coming together now!
The seat came out great, but it would have been cool if you had some clear vinyl over that padding.
