Hey guys. I have had these Goodyear tires lying around for a bit. They were on the 1939 Columbia, but I was never sure if they were really that old. Can anyone date these and maybe determine what they are worth?
If they are something special I'd like to sell them but I'm on more of a fact finding mission right now. Can I pump the PSI up higher than 20? 20 is a little low and slow.
There's a little cracking on the side walls, but not that bad. The metal rim bead(?) peeps throug a bit here an there, but I have ridden them and they hold fine.
Just curious if they are worth selling. Thanks.

I don't know if those are actually pre-war tires, but I definitely would not inflate them more than the 22 lbs as marked. That can deform new tires, it might tear the cords in an old dried out pre-synthetic(if it is one).

Wow, that's funny date code. I knew some marking indicated the date, but didn't realize it was the "circles and dots" method they were using.
gracias
