I just got a few more bikes today, my friend Mark had a few he wanted gone so I helped him out. Got a full suspension Pacific that's going to look sweet as an army bike build next summer, a 10 speed 80's Murry (junk), a woman's 24" Huffy mountain bike with nice Schwinn rims that need to be trued up (probably use the wheels on something else and junk the rest, and a Schwinn ladies frame that is broken right where the top tube meets the seat tube the seat tube just folded, but has some good parts on it for my old Schwinn build like a rust free 4 circle crank. Who knows if I get a welder it might make a cool lowrider....

Hit the Pawn shops for a welder.. bring cash and beat them down on the price..LOL

The 10-spd set-up on those crappy Murray's actually works OK, except the shifters are trash. Bolt-on fit to a majority of bottom entry coaster bike frames. :|

I'm thinking of just getting a cheap Harbor Freight welder. I've heard they do okay if you get Lincoln wire for them.

probably the the cheapest route to melting stuff...unless you got an old microwave..

you can always upgrade later if welding is your thing..

LOL, I've done welding before, never with a microwave... :? But I've done a few car restorations where welding was involved and I'm not particularly bad at it. The weld hold really well they just look like big wads of chewing gum, kinda like 90's Huffys....

Should the 90 amp welder from Chinese freight be hot enough to melt bike frame?

Finally got around to getting some pics.

Yes my shed is a mess, Yes I'm okay with that, No it's not warm enough to work on them...lol.

Just as a size reference my shed is not all that big I think it's either an 8'x8' or 10'x10'

Just through the door and this ain't half of it, the pile is nothing but bikes, half of them can't even be seen from the door.

Yeah I have a bunch of bikes you can't even see. Not to mention parts.... I used to have a trike in there but I think I dug it out and sold it last summer :? took up too much space....lol.

I think you can see part of the fork in the second broken Schwinn pic, Says element on it, just above the brown huffy sea trails

Dude, with all of this stuff it is obvious you have the disease bad. fear not for there is a cure that will provide temporary comfort.
First, you must drink mass Quantites
Then pee your name in the snow in hebrew ( It will not start out this way, but will end up this way)
All this must be done by while spinning threee times and singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow".
You must do all of this, wearing a tutu
Don't be afraid, it worked for me (I now have half the stuff you got).
To be clear this is a temparary solution, At first you will sell or even throw some of your stufff away, Then eventually it will creep back,
sometimeS so slowly that your third and forth wives don't even notice.
it is best to do this every 3 years (2 years if you sing off key)
I look forward to seeeing on U TUBE

LOL, Man I know I got it bad but not that bad! This is just my "Winter stash", it looks like this ......or worse.... every year. Also keep in mind this is after I've scraped about 30 bikes this year Mostly Wal-Mart bikes so don't get mad. (Although I did drag home a few beauties from the scrapyard) and I cleaned up and sold another 30-40 bikes over the summer. I'm not a hoarder..........I'm just a resting place for bikes that come my way.

Some get cleaned up and sent back on their way,
Some repaired to ride another day.
Some will sit in the corner till it's their time to shine,
Fermenting in dust like an Italian wine.
Some get parted so others may ride,
and a select few get Ratty, Rusty, and built with pride!
