Got A New Project To Start On!

Was going to attempt to build my own frame this winter but a good friend offered me this freshly made beaut at a price I couldn't turn down!
So lets see how this goes!!!

Well its going to be a long slow process as predicted, all depending on cash or lack of it! But, I got some great forks today, well, secured the sale I collect next weekend

Got a Nexus 8spd hub this week second hand from a local charity bike shop (they raise money for the homeless) it takes a disc so fitted one up and started making the calliper bracket hope to have it welded up before next weekend!

Canny good, dont forget you have a recyke y'bike in Durham now aswell as the ones in Newcastle if ya need cheap spares.

And BB converted with old Raleigh chainwheel connected ...just to see if it fits, it does so looking for nice very early chainwheel, anyway, fer now!....

There are no dumb questions. I work with University students now and so I tell them the only dumb question is the one not asked. These people who are on this site are the most helpful that I know of. All questions are handled nicely.

Slight progress! Rims are sorted as well, 80mm rear and 65mm front

Well, the rims are sprayed by me and are about to be handed over to an artist friend of mine to do his thing!!
