got my 1st bike back

well it's not the exact one, but mine was just like this except red. a friend gave it to me over the weekend. i'm going to replace the grips, seat, tires, sprocket, and brakes for more period correct parts. defiantly put a laid back seat post on it too.

Nice score! With a name like hutch73 Im sure you know old school BMX but just in case you dont, those VDC Monkey Bars are worth nearly as much as the whole rest of the bike :shock:

Id be shocked if those bars sell at $500. Seems like the ones that actually sold in the past were in the $300-$400 range which is still crazy money. My advice, sell those bars, pick up a set of Pro Class bars for $50 and have some extra loot to put in your pocket 8)

And as for that RJ sticker, I remember going to Ron Jon's back around 83 and it was still like one floor and small. I went back in the late 90s maybe...BIG CHANGE.
