Help Support Rat Rod Bikes Bicycle Forum:
Somebody should mount a bunch of these to a brake lever and wire them to an old car tail light. Then when you pull the lever they scrub on the tire and all that resistance not only slows you down but also lights up your brake light.
Cool one, looks in pretty good condition.
These are pretty much stock on european bike's.
As a kid i had a bike once with 3 of those on them :shock: (the bike lit up like a christmas tree :lol: )
I still favor them instead of batteries, better for your wallet and, environment.
if well adjusted, theres almost no drag.
