Close. I dont have it as "Larry" has it and evidently modifying a "few" things? The original owners daughter said the serial number is a 1965!

Looks like a 66. Schwinn started making the panther again in 1966 after they stopped making it in 1963. They used that style of guard on the 66 panther only. The serial number will confirm the date. It could be a late 1965 for the 66 model year. Nice find. Show us pics when it is cleaned up. Matt

Nice! Those two bikes will make for a nice pair... that's got to be my favorite Schwinn color. Is the front tire a gumwall gone bad or is it actually a yellow wall? :shock:
