They have a loop that circles the school grounds, mostly grass, some singletrack

Just done a crank/bb swap, stripped and cleaned the avid calipers, put on new bar wrap with extra padding underneath the top bar and along the bottom section for long trip comfort and big clean up and grease for my bro Mike he's off for a few days ride in the bush with some friends,my bro has spent some coin on this build and well worth it as he has clocked several thousand k's on it and only second to his surly

Considering doing a monstercross swap on my Haro Ally. It just doesn't get much trail use and it would be far better for me with drops over the straight bar

Surprising build, considering the frame choice. I like it. That was a single speed dedicated frame, is he still running the eccentric bottom bracket?

Yup and set down and forward seems the place he likes and logical, he had a square taper 68mm in it but swapped to spline drive 73mm which fits perfectly as sets the chain line straight in the center of the cassette and the spline seems to be a lot stiffer

I'll be building another one in 2020. This time from the predecessor of Wagant - The Romet Kobuz, this time with fatter tires, one disc brake, and my favorite 3-speed Sachs Dreigang hub.
