GREAT DAY!!! WITH.... MplsCoaster AND Oldgreaser

MplsCoaster (Steve) and his wife Karen are in Chicago on vacation,
So I thought the TailDraggers could show them a good time.

So we had a llittle party over at my house.

Mplscoaster,Oldgreaser , and some guy named Skipton :roll:

We had a BLAST riding each other's bikes!

My wife Lisa sure had a great time on Steve's Spaceliner. I know I did. The bike is FAST! and Killer Looking!

I had a Blast! riding and talking bikes with like minded bike geeks :mrgreen:
Big thanks to Steve and Karen, And Oldgreaser and his family for coming over today! What a Blast!

I'm sure there will be more pics to come!

Thanks for the photos. Makes me jealous, no one around here to ride rats with, poor me . Looks like you guys had fun, didn't get too wet, I hope? I might be going down to MA to a HPV festival and might see someone from RRB there.

BTW, Rick got BlueX going no problem, Skipton had to give me a push for me to ride :lol:

Wow, thanks Guys for the comments on the Spaceliner!
Realized the next day the seat moved and was tilted up in the front (ow!)
It actually rides a lot easier when you can sit on just the back

So my Wife and me got some more pics, Karen was a trooper :wink:
The pic is blurry only cause Skipton was going so fast :lol:

Rick took Karen's Hercules out, must have liked by the smile on his face

Lisa took it out too and when she came back she said, "I would like a bike like this"
Skipton , guess you have a request... :wink:

Rick rode BlueX with ease and ripped the front up and rode it up the curb :shock: 8)

Then he used his Popeye arms and did it again with the Spaceliner :shock: :shock:

Skippy and Me took ours out for a "drive-by" photo shoot :lol:

Can you tell we were having fun?

So Skipton took us for a short ride and I had to try Bellowing Yellow (Skip's pic)
The cops were chasing us because his bike was too cool :lol:

Seems like there are some pockets of RRBikers where they get together
Witchita KS, Cali, Texas, Jersey... but not to many in MN
Think it would be mega fun to have a big ride somewhere in the middle of the country
It made a good excuse for hauling the bikes on an 8 hour drive to Chicago

Was looking at your bike Steve on the lakefront path and thinking that a bonus to this cool, clean simplistic look is that it probably travels well. Easier to transport than a bike with a lot of bells and whistles on it.

I hadn't really thought about it but your right, they only weigh ~52 lbs together
My minimalism is validated, yeah! :lol: I'm too lazy to add the bells and whistles.

I did think think about carrying 2 bikes on the trunk of my wife's new car :shock:
The bike rack had to be placed on the trunk instead of the bumper cover (no support)
It was an ugly mount but that's the price you pay transporting a Spaceliner

They bounced a fair amount but no dents or scratches (that I saw)

Here's Skipton showing us a very cool purple dual-twin tube muscle bike
with short cottered cranks and a neat chainring

Good one of Rick's and Lisa's very nice bikes

I think the best line heard was," I guess they don't have kick stands in MN" :lol:

Sorry I missed the get together . The Spaceliner is awesome Mpls. I had to prep my popup for a trip to Co. so was pretty busy . Should have done a better job though ...l ran out of propane on the second day at 10000 ft.
