Today we rode about 16 miles on the Boise River Greenbelt and around town. The Greenbelt runs some 20 miles along the Boise River through Boise and out to Lucky Peak Lake. First we rode the Greenbelt down to BSU and dropped my son off at B-Day parts. My other son and I continued out the Greenbelt, stopped along the way at the "fish park" to check out the huge fish. Then rode out to a new cafe for some lunch. We returned down the other side of the river and picked up my son from the B-Day party. We then rode up to the Boise Train Depot for the 85th anniv. celebration. The depot is no longer used but it was open today. It sits on a bench above downtown Boise and looks at the Foothills. There were some cool cars, a couple of Motorcylcles, and Easywind had a couple of bikes too.

Lots of pictures as we went throughout our day.

Beautiful country and what looks to be a great trail. Not to mention being able to share it with your boys.

I wish I had a nice paved 20 mile track here. We've got the Silver Comet Trail, but it's a little 'rustic' for your standard beach cruiser bikes. Guess I need to build a Klunker for it!

Thanks for the comments. The weather is definately getting better for lots more great riding days. I ride to work everyday and welcome the warmer weather.
