Picked up a GT Performer frame a little while back (the guys over at bmxmuseum helped me figure out it is more than likely a Vertigo instead of a Performer though ...), they were pretty much my dream bike as a kid but I never had one myself and my friends wouldn't let me ride theirs... although I wouldn't let them ride my Huffy Pro-disc either

The Performers I remember were all white or that crazy blue color. I got to looking around for ideas and I really like the Eddie Fiola magazine ad Pro Performer. Plus my boys favorite color is yellow so I think I know where I want to go with the bike.

As I got it ...

good luck finding the fork..
im building a 92 Vert at the momment :D

Thanks, Ive got a chrome 91 Dyno fork I'm going to stick on it for now. Probably going to go the "close as I can get without needing a loan" approach

Haven't done much but think about this one, picked up some cheap Kenda Kontacts from my lbs and dug a stem out of his junk parts. The tires may stay or they may go, mongoose wheels are just temporary until i can get some tuff ii's and stuck the chrome dyno fork in it for now.

Got some parts on the way from porkchop ...

Black Chop Saw I chain ring in black and disc in silver along with a blue viscount seat, black A'me tri grips and some pedals.

Still hunting some bars and considering a rotor/gyro, I should be able to dig up some MX1000 copies @ my lbs when the stock room is cleaned up a bit too, still thinking about the levers though.

Gonna be awesome, a buddy of mine had one when I was growing up, white with white tuffs, was a sweet bike.

also have a Tigow japan crank arm 'on stingray :p
its a 180mm

Should be good on crank parts but thanks for the offer, with bars this tall I may be looking for a stem without as much rise to them now though

I think it looks a lot better with the Skyways too, once you get started ... building these things is addictive 8)

ProNeck looks without having to fight someone for a 20+ year old part  I know it's more of a racing stem, but the bars have plenty of height and I'm just building something to look stupid on anyway

Looks good! Hard to beat Skyways! :D

Waiting on the powdercoater to get the frame done, decals came in. Ultrahive.com is awesome btw !!! I ordered 1 downtube decal and 2 blue GT decals, price was $25 shipped which seems a little $pendy, but not outrageous when you compare other prices. He doubled what I ordered and then some too, I'm pretty sure I have seen other recieve the same for the complete decal kits as well.
