Hanging Bikes

I have a bike that I want to hang in the garage. This will be more for display than storage. I have a few ideas, but I am looking for more, could some of you show me what you have done?

My garage is a one car, so I have to pack them in there. I used an 8 foot 2 x 4 and laid it over the rafters, then screwed in a bike hook every 14". 16" would have been better, as they tend to get tangled up when I have all 10 hanging up. The weight of the bikes holds the 2 x 4 in place.

I've seen bikes hung with 1/8 steel cable. There were hooks on the bottom covered with vinyl tubing. Let us see it when you get it hung up!

i dont have pics,but you can buy hooks from home depot that mount to studs,with two arms that fold down to hold the top tube.you can mount one above another,makes for a nice display.thats what im using currently.now you cant hang 10+ as tidy as these other guys setup,haha
