Well my wife is sleepin in this morning thought i'd post this and add to her b-day suprise ,picked this little treasure up about 6-7 months ago ,finally got all the parts i needed to get it back on the road,i know she thought i'd never get to this one,seems all her projects have always been put on the back burner,not this one HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY hope you like it !,and thanx for puttin up with the bike thing all these years :) LUV YOU LOTS !

thanx for all the great comments ,she loves it :eek: for not havin to paint the whole bike like a normal build this 24'' was a lotta work ! for one i had a very nice new set of white pedals i wanted to install but i never did get the OG ones off and broke two wrenches in the prosess ! :? lucky the bearing's wher'nt too far gone ,i had to rebuild the rear hub also ,it was just caked up with old grease inside,also couldnt find the front piece for the tank so i used one from a mens tank and made a lens out of a old pair of saftey glasses,but i did enjoy this build alot just cause i knew how happy it would make my wife.. i placed the bike in the front room so when she got up it was in plane sight ! and guess where it is ? still in the same spot :wink: thanx again guyz for all your help in makin this a great day ! :D
 
what a great birthday gift! :D bike came out really sweet! i had the cosmic flyer version of that bike once. i have a "secret" girls bike build to start tomorrow! :oops:

If your wife ever doubts your devotion, just how her the before and after photos, hehe.
 
shared this post with my wife last night and she actually started to tear up ! now to find one for myself,just love those spaceliners thanx too all for chimming in really makes this more memorable,you guyz are great ! :wink:
