Has anyone seen the Sun Spyder!!! 26 x 4 wheels!!

Saw this at my LBS. Sun Spyder. These wheels and tires are insane!! Made for sand dunes or snow.

I also saw this sweet custom motorcycle on the ride home from the LBS.

I've seen the Sun Spider linked on this site a few times, look on Amazon, they are not incredibly expensive. It is sweet. Anyway, bikes like that and the Surly Pugsley made me want to build my own, on the cheap, and as of yesterday, all the parts are in. Check me out in builds under "Sand Rover."

Oh, and that motorcycle... wow. :shock:

i love those. i've got a bike version of their wraith in my head. just trying to find/afford the parts for it

I saw the Spyder prototype at last years Interbike. It had beach bars on it and a one peice crank with a ton of washers to make the chain line. I've never been a fan of those spider tread tires though. I'd sure like to try one to see what it feels like to ride with big wheels like that.
